What we prepare

Vial sets and drops for one named patient at a time

Every preparation is compounded on a prescription for an individual patient. We do not supply stock vials for general office use.

SCIT vial sets

Sterile multi-dose vials for in-clinic injections, one set per patient, labeled by dilution. Airborne and environmental allergens: pollens, grasses, trees, dust mites, molds and animal dander. Shipped to your clinic. SCIT details

SLIT drops

Custom-dosed sublingual drops for daily home use, compounded from the same standardized extracts. Airborne allergens and, at the prescriber’s direction, certain food allergens. Shipped to the patient where state law permits. SLIT details

Documentation

Mixing documentation and titration worksheets for your chart, with clear labels showing contents, dilution, storage and beyond-use date. Every preparation is traceable by lot.

Why practices send mixing out

In-office mixing has its own rulebook

USP <797> includes a section on allergenic extracts. It sets requirements for anyone who mixes prescription sets, physician offices included: trained and garbed personnel, regular competency testing, a suitable mixing area, labeling, beyond-use dating and records. Many practices meet these in-house. Others prefer to send patient-specific prescriptions to a pharmacy whose sterile program already works under USP <797>.

  • Allergen extract inventory, lots and expiration dates managed by the pharmacy.
  • Aseptic mixing by trained staff, with a pharmacist verifying each patient’s preparation against the prescription.
  • Labels, beyond-use dates and storage instructions on every vial.
  • A documentation packet for each patient, ready for your records.
  • Pharmacists available to your staff by phone, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM Central.
