AccuMix Pharmacy, LLC · 655 W Grand Ave, Suite 240, Elmhurst, IL 60126 · 866-817-5303 · info@accumixrx.com
Effective date: October 14, 2026.
This Privacy Policy explains what information AccuMix Pharmacy, LLC (“AccuMix”, “we”, “us”) collects when you use our website at accumixrx.com (the “Website”) or contact us, how we use it, and the choices you have.
Health information is handled separately. Information about your prescriptions, your health and the medications we dispense to you is protected health information. It is governed by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which describes how we use and disclose that information and the rights you have. This Privacy Policy covers everything else.
1. What the Website collects
Information you send us through a form. The Website has contact forms, including Ask a Pharmacist, Refer Your Provider and a partnership request form for prescribers and telehealth platforms. When you submit a form, what you type (such as your name, email address, phone number, state, the medication you want to ask about and your message) is sent by email to our pharmacy team at info@accumixrx.com. Form submissions are not stored on the Website. Please do not put medical details in a web form; call us instead.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, ours uses a small number of cookies and similar technologies:
- cookies that the website software needs to work, such as remembering a choice you made on a page;
- Google Analytics, which tells us in aggregate how many people visit, which pages they read and roughly where visitors are located (by region, from the IP address), so we can improve the Website. Google Analytics sets its own cookies and receives your IP address, device and browser type and the pages you visit. We have not turned on advertising features, and we do not use the Website to serve or measure advertising.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings; the Website will still work. The Website does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals, because there is no agreed standard for them.
Information from prescribers and business contacts. When a prescriber, clinic or telehealth platform contacts us, we keep the business contact details they give us (name, practice, role, business email, phone and address) and, for prescribers who send us prescriptions, their professional identifiers such as NPI and state license number, which we need to verify and fill prescriptions.
What we do not collect on the Website. The Website has no patient accounts, takes no orders and no payments, and does not ask for or store prescription, health, payment-card, Social Security or government ID information. If you are given access to our prescriber portal, that portal is operated by our software vendor and governed by its own terms and privacy notice.
2. How we use the information
We use the information described above to:
- answer your questions and requests and contact you about them;
- contact a prescriber’s office when you ask us to through the Refer Your Provider form;
- set up and verify prescribers and business partners, and communicate with them;
- understand how the Website is used and improve it;
- keep the Website secure and detect misuse;
- comply with the law and with pharmacy regulations, and respond to lawful requests from regulators, boards of pharmacy and law enforcement.
We do not send marketing email or text messages to patients. Prescribers and business contacts may receive occasional updates about our services and can ask us to stop at any time.
3. Who we share it with
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it with anyone for advertising. We share it only:
- with service providers who work for us and are bound to use it only on our instructions, such as our website hosting company, our email provider, Google Analytics, our pharmacy software vendor and the carriers that deliver shipments;
- with a prescriber’s office when you ask us to contact them;
- when the law requires it, including to state boards of pharmacy, the FDA, the DEA and courts;
- to protect the safety of a patient, our staff or the public, or to investigate fraud or a security incident; and
- if the pharmacy is sold or reorganized, with the successor, who must honor this policy.
4. How we protect it
The Website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Form submissions go to a mailbox that only our pharmacy team can access. Access to our systems is limited to staff who need it, and staff are trained in privacy and security. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so please do not send health information by web form or ordinary email; use the phone.
5. How long we keep it
Form messages are kept in our email system for as long as they are needed to answer you and to keep a record of the request, and are then deleted. Prescriber and business contact details are kept while the relationship lasts and as long as pharmacy regulations require records to be retained. Google Analytics data is kept for the retention period set in Google Analytics and is aggregated.
6. Your choices and rights
You can ask us at any time what personal information we hold about you from the Website, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will do so unless pharmacy law requires us to keep a record. You can also ask us to stop contacting you. Write to privacy@accumixrx.com, call 866-817-5303, or write to AccuMix Pharmacy, LLC, Attn: Privacy, 655 W Grand Ave, Suite 240, Elmhurst, IL 60126. We may need to verify your identity first. Residents of states with consumer privacy laws that apply to us have the rights those laws provide, and we will honor them; we will not treat you differently for exercising a privacy right.
Requests about your prescription or health records are handled under the HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which also explains how to complain to the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
7. Children
The Website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13 through it. A parent or guardian may contact us about a child’s prescription. If you believe a child has sent us personal information through the Website, write to privacy@accumixrx.com and we will delete it.
8. Links to other websites
The Website links to other websites, including our prescriber portal, carriers, Google and government sites. Their privacy practices are their own; please read their policies.
9. Changes to this policy
When we change this policy we post the new version here with a new effective date. If a change materially affects how we use information you have already given us, we will tell you before it takes effect.
