Sterile (USP <797>)

  • Injectables: Subcutaneous/IM vials or prefilled syringes
  • IV preparations: Custom admixtures per provider protocol
  • Ophthalmics: Sterile eye drops/ointments

Non-sterile (USP <795>)

  • Capsules: Immediate-release or sustained-release
  • Oral liquids: Solutions/suspensions (flavoring available when appropriate)
  • Sublinguals/troches/ODTs: For under-tongue or buccal use
  • Topicals: Creams, gels, ointments, lotions, foams
  • Transdermals: Gels/creams for through-the-skin delivery
  • Suppositories: Rectal or vaginal
  • Nasal preparations: Sprays/rinses when clinically appropriate
