What it is
“Scream Cream” is the informal name for a compounded cream that prescribers order for women with concerns about arousal or sensitivity. The usual formula combines arginine (an amino acid), sildenafil, theophylline and pentoxifylline, and is intended to support local blood flow, sensitivity and natural lubrication. The prescriber can adjust the ingredients and their strengths.
There is no FDA-approved product with this combination, and FDA has not evaluated it for safety or effectiveness.
