AccuMix Pharmacy is now LegitScript-certified
AccuMix Pharmacy has been certified by LegitScript, the independent verification service used by Google, Microsoft, Meta and payment companies to confirm that an online pharmacy is properly licensed and operates lawfully. The LegitScript seal now appears at the bottom of every page on accumixrx.com, and clicking it opens our verification record on LegitScript.com.
What LegitScript certification means
To certify a pharmacy website, LegitScript reviews the pharmacy’s state licenses, its ownership, how prescriptions are handled, and the content of the website itself, and then monitors the site on an ongoing basis. Certification is the standard that search engines and advertising platforms use to tell a legitimate pharmacy from a rogue one. For patients and prescribers, it is an outside confirmation of what we already publish: AccuMix is a 503A compounding pharmacy licensed in Illinois and 39 other states plus Washington, DC, we dispense only on a valid prescription for a named patient, and nothing is sold through our website.
Part of a larger effort
LegitScript certification joins our membership of the American College of Apothecaries, the Alliance for Pharmacy Compounding and PCCA, and our application for NABP Digital Pharmacy Accreditation, which is in progress. Each of these is a way for a pharmacy to be checked by someone other than itself, and we will post the NABP accreditation here when it is granted.
